Precision Mini Sherpa Extruder Gears

Designed exclusively for integration with the Mini Sherpa CNC Spur Gear Kit, these extruder gears feature a one-piece shaft built from CNC-machined hollow stainless steel. Nano-coating enhances surface durability while preserving dimensional accuracy. The reduction gear arrangement delivers elevated torque at the filament interface, supporting robust extrusion even with stiff or composite filaments. Dual ball bearings replace needle bearings on the driven gear, yielding tighter clearances and more repeatable positioning. Feed gear material is high-strength mould steel, hardened to HRC 62–65 and nano-coated to HV 1000–1200 — providing exceptional resistance to wear, deformation and environmental attack. Lightweight construction is achieved by removing non-critical internal mass, ensuring rotational agility without sacrificing rigidity or longevity.
