PVC Drain Test Plug 125mm

This drainage test plug combines proven PVC durability with functional simplicity. Measuring approx. 96 mm in air bag diameter and 170 mm in total length, it inflates safely up to 1.5 bar to form a reliable seal in pipes up to 125 mm internal diameter. The PVC compound is selected for balanced elasticity and recovery — retaining shape after deflation and resisting permanent set during storage or transport. Its streamlined silhouette and lightweight mass make it ideal for repeated insertion into vertical stacks, horizontal branch lines, or offset connections. The absence of metal parts or complex assemblies ensures compatibility with magnetic retrieval tools and eliminates galvanic corrosion risks in mixed-material piping networks. Field-tested across London housing associations, regional water utilities, and independent plumbing firms, it supports daily tasks such as sectional isolation for CCTV survey prep, verifying grease trap integrity, checking siphonic roof drainage systems, and confirming backflow prevention device functionality — all without disrupting adjacent fixtures or requiring full system isolation.
