Rotating Backflow Preventing Drain Cap

Compact unit measuring 9.5 cm × 4.2 cm (D×H), weighing 185 g; made from PP and ABS for sustained resistance to moisture, detergents, and thermal cycling. Integrates an automatic backflow prevention mechanism that engages when water pressure drops, physically sealing the drain to stop reverse odour migration from shared soil stacks — critical in UK flats and terraced housing. Full 360° rotation allows precise orientation during installation, even in tight under-sink cabinets or recessed shower trays. Supports rapid drainage via unobstructed flow channel and 90° closure lever for immediate water evacuation. Designed for direct retrofit into standard UK sink waste outlets (32 mm, 38 mm, 40 mm), including kitchen sinks handling food debris, bathroom basins exposed to hair and soap scum, and utility sinks connected to washing machines.
