Rustic Squirrel Corn Holding Station

Height 28 cm, base footprint 15 × 12 cm; net weight ~0.8 kg. Made entirely from kiln-dried solid wood — grain visible, surface left natural for breathable weather resistance. Holds one full-size dried corn cob vertically via a tapered groove cut into the main post. The squirrel motif is integral to the structure — carved from the same timber block as the support column — ensuring durability and visual cohesion. Its upward-facing posture and exaggerated features lend gentle humour without caricature. Designed for placement on grass, gravel, decking or stone — stable on uneven terrain due to wide, low-centre base. Fits seamlessly beside sheds, fences, or herb beds. Reflects traditional British garden craftsmanship values while meeting modern expectations for ethical, non-intrusive wildlife interaction.
