SMD Soldering Practice Kit FR-4 PCB

This SMD soldering practice kit features a 145mm x 100mm FR-4 printed circuit board — a rigid, flame-retardant, glass-reinforced epoxy laminate widely used in professional electronics. The board is populated with 300 common surface-mount device (SMD) components, including resistors, capacitors, ICs and LEDs, all pre-mounted for rework practice. It operates on a stable DC9V input supplied via a built-in AC6V–DC9V conversion circuit with protective diodes and filtering capacitors. Twelve independent LED circuits — each driven by dual logic chips (74HC573 and 74HC164) — provide visual feedback through sequential flashing and steady illumination patterns. Designed specifically for beginners, the compact layout supports clear identification of soldering defects such as cold joints or bridging.
