Solid Brass Marine Chart Divider Tool

A compact, straight-leg dividing tool forged from solid brass for dependable performance in marine navigation, technical drawing, and academic training. Measuring 168 mm overall, it combines heft and control in a lightweight, pocketable format. Its brass composition guarantees immunity to rust — even after prolonged exposure to sea air or workshop moisture — and requires no special storage or cleaning regimen. The tool functions efficiently with one hand, supporting rapid chart work, scale transfers, and proportional layout tasks. Ideal for architecture and engineering students in UK institutions where hands-on drafting remains a foundational skill, and for certified navigators maintaining backup manual capabilities alongside electronic systems.
