A DN20 (25 mm OD) inline basket strainer constructed entirely from corrosion-resistant materials: a machined solid brass body and a laser-cut, seam-welded 304 stainless steel mesh basket. Dimensions: ~120 mm L × ~45 mm D; weight: 0.32 kg. Rated for continuous operation under static pressures up to 10 bar and temperatures up to 60°C — suitable for UK domestic cold water, boosted hot water return loops, and commercial booster pump intakes. The mesh geometry balances open area ratio (~65–70%) with particle retention consistency, targeting contaminants between 100–300 microns — including iron oxide fragments, jointing compound residue, and biofilm flakes. Internal flow channels are deburred and polished to avoid turbulence-induced erosion or localised sediment settling. Typical deployment includes: main supply entry to new-build flats, suction side of Grundfos-type circulators, feed to plate heat exchangers in district heating interfaces, and upstream of drip emitters in greenhouse irrigation — wherever particulate load threatens reliability or increases lifecycle cost.
