Squishy Burrito Dodgeball Card Game

Throw Throw Burrito is a physical card game combining set-collection strategy with live-action dodgeball elements. Includes 80 custom playing cards (standard poker-size, 63.5 × 88 mm), two soft, lightweight, fabric-covered foam burritos (approx. 12 cm long, 6 cm diameter), and illustrated rulebook. All components are made from durable cardstock and high-compression foam — designed for repeated throws and catches without deformation or wear. Intended for 2–6 players aged 7+, with average gameplay duration of 15–20 minutes per round. Requires open floor space for safe throwing; burritos are intentionally low-impact and non-damaging to furniture or surfaces. The core gameplay loop involves drawing and secretly holding cards while racing to complete sets of three matching cards. When a 'Burrito Card' is played, an immediate physical interaction triggers: players must dodge, throw, or block using the included burritos. Points are awarded for completed sets but deducted if hit — introducing real-time risk-reward tension absent in traditional card games. Ideal for UK households during lockdowns, student flats, family game nights, or office team-building events where light physical engagement and laughter-driven interaction are prioritised over screen time.
