This Z96-F mechanical length counter delivers dependable linear measurement for textile, printing, and synthetic material applications. Its 160 mm form factor houses two synchronised rolling wheels that improve surface conformity and reduce slip — particularly effective on thin, slippery, or slightly elastic materials. Built using both metal and plastic components, it balances rigidity and lightweight handling. The counter displays values from 1 to 99,999 metres and updates reliably at speeds up to 200 counts per minute. A mechanical lock engages after three full revolutions, blocking reverse movement; pressing the reset lever returns the display to zero. Accuracy is rated within ±1–3 cm, consistent with mechanical wheel-based measurement standards.
