Tungsten Carbide EDM Alignment Sphere

Physical footprint: 10.00 × 3.00 × 3.00 cm (3.93 × 1.18 × 1.18 in); weight approximately 122 g. Entire unit machined from homogeneous tungsten carbide billet — no joints, coatings, or secondary materials — guaranteeing isotropic performance and resistance to micro-cracking under repeated impact loading. The reference sphere (Ø10 mm) is concentrically aligned to the magnetic base axis within ±0.005 mm. Magnet polarity is oriented vertically to maximize grip on horizontal machine surfaces while allowing controlled rotation if needed for angular referencing. Intended for use in EDM sinker setups, CNC mill vise alignment, and precision inspection stations. Common applications include locating electrode centers prior to rough sinking, verifying cavity symmetry in multi-cavity molds, and establishing master datums for coordinate-based measurement. Not recommended for high-speed rotating applications or exposure to strong external magnetic fields.
