Weatherproof Programmable Water Timer

This weatherproof water timer has compact dimensions of 12.5 x 8.5 x 6.5 cm and a lightweight build of 320 g, supporting flow rates up to 12 L/min across 0.1–0.8 MPa pressure. Powered by 4 AA batteries (not included), it features a digital interface with simple menu navigation and real-time cycle status feedback. A built-in self-test activates automatically on power-up, cycling the valve once to verify operation. The casing uses UV-stabilised ABS and achieves IP65 ingress protection — certified against dust and water jets — for uninterrupted service in rain, frost, or direct sun. It connects natively to standard UK 3/4" GHT outlets and supports all major irrigation types: impact sprinklers, fan-spray nozzles, and 16 mm drip tubing. Its slim profile allows discreet placement beside outdoor taps, under decking, or inside ventilated storage boxes. Apply it to spring lawn revival: program brief, dawn-starting cycles to strengthen root systems before summer stress. For compact city gardening, automate hydration of window box herbs or patio tomatoes — ensuring consistent moisture even during travel or busy weeks. With drip systems in allotments or back-garden veg patches, maintain optimal soil moisture levels across growing seasons by simply adjusting frequency — no hardware changes needed.
